Sphere Design & Architecture was established in Durban fifteen years ago. Founded by Rupert Spence with Wendy Green, we comprise a design wing with vast specialist interior design experience in the retail and commercial sector and an architectural wing which developed further from 2007 onwards with the additional member, Gina Garrity.
Over the years, architecturally we have diversified into residential, commercial and industrial architecture completing projects both nationally and internationally. Our experience on commercial projects includes new high rise structures, retail centres, large scale refurbishments, hotel and leisure projects and residential. Domestic work has seen us completing a number of high end residential homes as well as a number of smaller local projects.
Our interior design team has become specialised in corporate office interiors, restaurant design, retail interiors, space planning and exhibition stand design, both nationally and internationally. This interior design service is an asset on many of our Architectural projects where we engage in both the building structure and
the interior look and feel.
Our company has a strong passion for design, our creative and practical solutions are an asset to each project along with our professional and personalised approach to supplying an excellent service. Our diverse use of materials and movement towards greener solutions are also key principals.
